Textiles & Craft — Material Histories & Living Weaving Practices
Pramod Kumar KG is the co-founder of Eka Archiving Services, India’s first museum and cultural advisory firm.
He has curated exhibitions and lectured extensively, working closely with a wide range of artefacts, royal collections and historical textiles across South Asia.
Working with Bharat Kala Bhavan's textile holdings to explore Banaras's material histories, weaving traditions and their continuing reinterpretation in the present.
Banaras's textile heritage is not an artifact of the past; it is knowledge in motion. Through close study of historical weaving techniques, motif evolutions, and material exchanges, the Textiles & Craft programme bridges traditional loom masteries with contemporary design dialogues.
